WHAT CAN I EXPECT IN THE FIRST SESSION?

In the first session we will discuss your present life and the concerns and hopes that brought you to therapy. If working together feels like a good fit, we’ll schedule another session. If after meeting, either you or I think a different therapist might better help you, I will offer referrals.

WHAT ISSUES COMMONLY BRING PEOPLE TO SEE YOU?

Life transitions, anxiety, relationships, feeling stuck or disconnected, grief and loss, career dissatisfaction, fear, self esteem, looking for new coping skills. These are just a handful of examples of what might motivate someone to contact a therapist. Please inquire if you have a particular concern that is not listed here.

DO YOU OFFER PHONE/REMOTE THERAPY?

Yes. I offer a combination of phone and in-person sessions for people who live in Nashville but travel frequently. I also offer phone sessions for clients who live outside of Nashville.

WHAT ARE YOUR RATES AND PAYMENT OPTIONS?

50-minute individual session   -   $200

50-minute couples session   -   $215

Group session, 90-minute - $85

Payment is made at the time of each session by cash, check, or Venmo.

I am also available for half day and full day intensives for those who want to do a short term, focused piece of work around a particular issue. Price varies, please inquire for more information.

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?

My office is on 25th Avenue North in the midtown area, near Centennial Park - convenient to downtown, Hillsboro Village, Belmont, Vanderbilt, 12th South, West End, and easily accessible from the interstate. Free parking is available in the parking garage.

WILL INSURANCE COVER MY SESSIONS?

I am out of network, which means you may receive reimbursement for a portion of your sessions. To inquire about your specific mental health benefits, contact your insurance provider. Whether working with an in or out of network therapist, a mental health diagnosis must be given to receive mental health coverage. Some people are comfortable with this and others prefer to pay out of pocket. If you choose to file with insurance, you will pay for your sessions and I will then complete the necessary paperwork for you to submit.
